The Kannada film industry has pulled off a fantastic accomplishment by presenting Love You, the first full-length feature movie made 100 percent using artificial intelligence (AI). This 95-minute romantic drama marks a major point in movie history — it is the merging of technology and narrative.
Film Revolution :
Love You has been directed and produced by S. Narasimha Murthy, with AI technician Nutan as one of its works of creation; human performers, musicians, or conventional film teams had no role at all. AI tools handled every aspect, from scripting and character animation to music composition and editing. The production budget of the movie was ₹10 lakhs, which offered a vision for affordable cinema made technologically possible.
Official Acknowledgment
The Central Board of Film Certification has given a U/A certificate to the movie Love You, meaning it’s the first-ever AI-generated feature film to be granted proper certification for theatrical release in India. This certification further implies that the film is ready for a mainstream audience and complies with industry criteria.

In speaking with director Narasimha Murthy, he highlighted how the film led them to explore the potentials of AI in storytelling. Love You is an experiment to see how technology can be used to innovate compelling narratives, without resources’.
“Our goal was to take it to where it can make the creativity joyous,” added AI technician Nutan. In order to use AI to create a film that connects with people while also demonstrating technology’s abilities within the arts, that’s what we set out to do’.
