Imran Khan (Bollywood Actor), who has been absent from Bollywood for almost 10 years is all set to make his return to the silver screen with romantic comedy Adhure Hum, Adhure Tum. Due in 2026, his return to the business with this film is Khan’s last appearance after Katti Batti, 2015.
Man who directed 2010 film Break Ke Baad starring Khan and Shefali Shekhawat, Danish Aslam, expected it to be a light hearted and entertaining film which will go well with Khan as an actor. This would be the first time Aamir Khan Productions will venture into the OTT arena for the production of this project, if true. It would be the first foray of Aamir Khan Producers into the OTT arena, Aamir Khan Producers sources have said, and produced by it.
And if all this is to come true, then the production of the film is to start soon, after the last script finished. Shooting is planned for March 2025. According to the shooting schedule, it will start in March 2025.
Sources also say that Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar is being talked as a replacement for the female lead, though the name of that lead has not been officially announced. If Pednekar will be working with Netflix India for the third time, she would be doing so after Bhakshak and then The Royals. Khan’s return to the romantic comedy genre is seen as a complete circle moment because, he was first recognized for the movies like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and it is a happy that barring a couple of memorable flop, all his romantic comedy movies were successful. I Hate Luv Storys (2010), Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) and Ya Jaane Na (2008).
The return of the romantic comedy genre is marked as the full circle moment as it is how Khan started his movie career with movies like Jaane Tu….
