Naagzilla: Kartik Aaryan turns into a NAAGIN this time.

Karthik Aryan in Naagzilla as Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, a shape-shifting serpent — also known as an ichchhadhari naag. The film is released jointly by Mahaveer Jain Films and Dharma Productions and was directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and written by Gautam Mehra. Incorporating both modern tale writing and Indian folklore, Naagzilla will see Aaryan, as his character will be a 631-year-old snake, set off on a magical journey and mark out a change from the characters he has played in the past before the scheduled release in theaters on August 4, 2026, in line with the festival of Naag Panchami.

Naagzilla being a change from his former parts as he is the 631 year old serpent Aaryan sets forth on a magical journey. His second working with Dharma Productions this movie follows their Valentine’s Day release. Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu meri.

That announcement coincides with a resurgence in the popularity of serpent lore in Indian film. Shraddha Kapoor’s Naagin trilogy was originally revealed in the year 2020; it is set to go on floors in the year 2025. This is especially remarkable. Producer Nikhil Dwivedi has said that the script of a sequel was completed and the film will publish it in 2026. Naagzilla seems to push new frontiers for Kartik Aaryan, who makes use of a mythological character that seamlessly counterbalances comedy and fantasy.

Kartik Aaryan takes on unexplored ground with Naagzilla, which amounts to a humorous and fantasy avatar of a legendary figure. Before the movie goes on its premiere, fans of the movie can expect a new take on the otherwise conventional mythology with a modern twist.
